Tourist Information - El Campello - Costa Blanca, Spain
El Campello has a varied and attractive coastline of 23km in length full of beaches of all kind, varying from the Muchavista Beach, which is very much frequented, a series of cliffs and tiny coves of sand, gravel and rocks, and crystal clear waters that are so apprieciated as nudist beaches, to the rocky coves of Coveta Fuma or the sandy beaches such as Venta la Nuza, where the development Residencial Calanuza is located.
El Campello was chosen as a good site for a settlement where El Campello inhabitants have preserved and provided their town with a dual character, both rural and cosmopolitan. The remains left by various civilizations can be seen, even now, along with the excellent beaches of this beautiful and contrasting landscape.
Alongside the Port and the fishing area there is an urban beach that runs parallel to the seaside promenade and this is connected to another small cove that makes a perfect inlet for first-time sailors.

El Campello boasts a wide variety of sporting activities. On the one hand, there is a Sports Marina and a Yacht Club that offer all kinds of water-sport activities, including surfing schools, sailboats for hire and scuba diving centres which give you the opportunity to undertake interesting routes under water, such as the route of "the Queen's Baths".

On its slope inland, at a height of 700 metres you can find the Caves of Canalobre which are considered a great speleological interest for Spain.
Throughout the year interesting events and celebrations take place in El Campello. The Naucotur fair is held every year around Easter, this is a nautical trade and tourism fair which takes place on the promenade next to the Port. The festivities of the Moorish and Christians begin on the night of the 11th of October with the symbolic Desembarco or landing of the Moorish soldiers. A must-see is the entrance parade on the 12th and the Morrish and Christian ambassadors, as well as the firecrackers and firework displays.

And we mustn't forget about the fish auction that takes place every afternoon, from Monday to Friday in the Fish Market Harbour. The public can participate in this commercial spectacle, not just as spectators but also as bidders.
